These links accompany kidcyber's Marine Animals WebQuest
Remember: your chosen animal must be a resident or frequent visitor to Australian waters, and it must be a threatened species.
Read a kidcyber page to find out what the term threatened species means:
You may search for information online using a search engine. Choose the keywords thoughtfully: some pages or websites may include information about some members of the species that live elsewhere. For example, a page about seals and penguins will have general information about all of them, as well as information about different species, only a few of which may be found in Australia. Similarly, a page about crocodiles will have general information common to all species, as well as information about species in different countries, and species that live in fresh water, not the sea. Try to include the name of the species or location in the keywords you insert in the search engine.
