There are many animals and plants that live in water.
Some water is fresh water.
Some water is salty.
Sea water is salty.
There are birds that live near water and feed on things that live in the water.
Lots of different kinds of fish live in the sea. Some live near the bottom, in deep sea. Some live near the top.
Many fish live in groups, called schools. This confuses the animals that try to eat them.
Sharks live in the sea. There are many kinds of shark. Whales are animals that live in the water.
Animals like walrus, seals and polar bears spend a much of their time in the sea, but also come onto land. Penguins are birds that do not fly, and spend part of their time on land and part in the sea.
