Tennis
Tennis players use a racquet to hit a ball over a net into an area of the court in such a way that an opposing player, at the other end of the court, cannot return it.
The ball is made of rubber and covered with felt. The racquet has a long, straight handle and an oval frame.
There are singles matches where two players play against each other and doubles matches where a team of two plays against another team of two.
The Serve
To begin the game, one player serves the ball by hitting it over the net. The player on the other side must try to hit the ball back over the net before it hits the ground twice.
