Rabbits

Male rabbits are called bucks, females are does and the young are called kittens.

Life Cycle
When they mate the buck puts his sperm inside the doe's body. The sperm will make the eggs inside her body grow into baby rabbits.

The doe is pregnant for about 30 days. Up to 12 babies can grow inside the mother's body.
About a month after mating, the young are born. the kittens in the litter have a thin layer of fur and are blind.
They drink milk from their mother 's body. After a few weeks, the young rabbits have grown fur and can find food for themselves.

Rabbits become adults and able to mate whenthey are three and a half months old.
