Greece has boundaries with Albania, Bulgaria, Turkey and The Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia.

Climate: Winters in Greece are mild and wet, summers are hot and dry.  Snow falls on the high mountains in winter and there are ski resorts for people who enjoy winter sports.

Main religion: Eastern Orthodox: 98 % of the population

Government: the form of government is a Parliamentary republic with a President who is elected by the Parliament as Head of State. A President serves a 5 Years term.

The Head of Government is the Prime Minister who is appointed by the President.
People over the age of 18 vote in elections every 4 years for members of Parliament.
