Life on Earth timelines: a kidcyber weblink page

Scientists tell us that the Earth is over 5 billion years old. There was no life on the planet until the first organisms appeared in the oceans about 3.4 billion years ago.

Dinosaurs appeared and then died out about 65 million years ago.

Human recorded history stretches back just 10,000 years.
