Everyone needs
to exercise and keep fit, and people with disabilities are no
exception. There are ways in which they can do this.
There are a number of sports now adapted to be played by people in wheelchairs. Some are team sports such as rugby and basketball, others are individual or pairs, such as tennis, and others are individual, such as archery or fencing. Some sports, such as skiing, have specially designed equipment so that people with a disability can participate.
