Q is for Quetzalcoatlus
(say ket-sol-ko-AT-lus)

It was not a dinosaur. It was a flying reptile. It had a long beak.
There has never been such a big flying animal. It had huge wings.

R is for Riojasaurus
(say ree-yoh-uh-saw-russ)

It walked on four legs. Its feet had five claws. It had a hollow backbone.
It ate plants.

S is for Stegasaurus
(say steg-uh-saw-russ)

It had bony plates sticking up on its back to help warm up its body. Its brain was the size of a walnut.

T is for Tyrannosaurus
(say tie-ran-oh-saw-russ)

It was a very fierce dinosaur. It ate meat. It hunted other dinosaurs. It had small arms that had two big claws. It walked on two legs.

U is for Utahraptor
(say you-tar-rap-tor)

It ran fast. It had big sharp teeth. It ate meat. It had big sharp claws on its hands and feet.

V is for Velociraptor
(say vell-os-see-rap-tor)

It ran very fast. It ate meat. It had a big claw on the middle of each back foot. The claw was 9 cm long.

W is for Wuerhosaurus
(say woo-air-oh-SAW-russ)

It had plates on its back and spikes on its tail.

It lived in China.

X is at the end of Archaeopteryx
(Say ark-ay-op-ter-icks)

It was a bit like a dinosaur and a bit like a bird. Its bones were like dinosaur bones but it had feathers and wings. It had teeth and a bony tail.

Y is for Yangchuanosaurus
(say yang-choo-ahn-oh-saw-russ)

It ate meat. It had three claws on its hands and feet.
Its arms were little.
It had big teeth.
Z is for Zuniceratops (say zoo-nee-sair-uh-tops)

It ate plants.
It had a horn on each eyebrow.
It had a big crest on its head.
