V is for Vervet Monkey
Vervet monkeys live in
Africa.
They stay near trees.
Their fur is silver with green on the back.
They have a black face, hands and feet.
They have long tails.
They live in large groups.
They make a lot of sounds that have different meanings.
They use their tails for messages too.
Vervets eat what
they find in trees, like leaves and buds and fruit.
They eat lizards and bugs too.
They are also called Green monkeys.
