F is for Fox

Foxes are wild dogs.

They have bushy tails and long fur.

They have pointy noses and ears.

Foxes can be red, grey, white, black or brown.

There are different kinds of fox.

 Foxes are good hunters.

They hunt at night.

In the day they stay in a den.

Foxes hunt rabbits and other small animals.

A fox family is a dog fox, a vixen and young ones are called kits, cubs or pups.

In Australia, foxes are pests that kill too many native animals. Foxes are not native animals in Australia.
