 A Trip to Africa  Name:

Your Task
You are a travel agent specialising in tours to African countries. Plan a holiday for a family, visiting 5 African countries. Family members' interests include wild animals, birds, hiking and canoeing, photography and shopping. They would also like to see something of traditional life in Africa.

Here are some useful websites.

You may also find other websites and use other resources such as books, videos, atlas.

The Process
Write down some research questions (some clues are in the description of your task), and make each a heading on a data chart. Under each heading, make notes. When you have done that, make your notes into sentences and paragraphs. Put all your paragraphs in the order you think is logical and works for your presentation.

Presentation Choices
You will prepare a detailed itinerary (a day by day schedule that includes travel arrangements, accommodation and tours) for the family. You can show brochures and give a talk in which you provide a description of the activities you have organised.

Evaluation
After your presentation, you will assess your project and presentation. Fill in the evaluation form, print it off, and discuss it with your teacher.
