Jellyfish

Jellyfish are not fish.

Jellyfish are made mostly of water.

Jellyfish don't have heart, brain or bones.

Jellyfish live in all of the world's oceans.

Jellyfish swim by jet propulsion. A jellyfish expands and then quickly contracts its bell-shaped body.(Like opening and closing an umbrella quickly) This movement forces water away from the bell and pushes the jellyfish in the opposite direction.

To protect themselves, some jellyfish are transparent and can hide from predators such as sea turtles.
Others have stinging cells that injects poison into anything that touches the jellyfish. The stinging cells are also used to catch prey. (animals that the jellyfish eats)
